At Hideaway Lakes Portugal we are an interesting bunch. John, the owner, comes from the N.W. but spent alot of his childhood and time the Borders of Scotland, where he worked as a farm hand and, as he likes to put it, grew up!! With a love of the countryside, Gamekeeping, at several estates throughout the UK, was his next calling.

Nix, John's wife, and Jasmine, their daughter, are often around to say hello. Nix is more than qualified to offer her services in the Pilates and Cranio Sacral Therapy arenas, for those that are interested.
Alex is often seen up at Hideaway Lakes Portugal, taking new pictures, watching the changes and getting to know the lay of the land and lakes, getting the news to deliver to you. One day learning how to fish!! He is great ambassador to the outside world for us, using his experience and own business PAC (Portugal) Ltd to help market the vision for us.
