Algarve Carp Fishing currently stocks Large Mouth Bass, Common Carp and Mirror Carp which vary in size and at this time we are aiming at Pleasure Angler's, however there are plans for the future to have a Specimen lake.
At Hideaway Lakes Portugal, we aim to stock only strong and fit fish, not the distended and overweight fish that you may see elsewhere in Europe.
We bring fish on as naturally as possible, feeding a little but often. Our management plan is to make the fish WORK for their food by spread feeding and not bulk feeding. The carp, both common and mirror carp, at Hideaway Lakes, show the benefit of this type of fish management.
