Fishing Report week ending 12 May 2013

 The main lake is full and looking great. It is fishing well in the evenings. So, John suggests that you book a twilight ticket or a half day ticket and increase your chances while it is hot. Fishing is now allowed for one hour after dusk. Great Fun!

Wild Carp test

The Wild Carp Specimen Lake was test fished by one of our independent guides for 36 hours straight last week and produced very good results. 23 Carp mirrors and common. Mostly mid doubles and a couple of surprises.

Bass Test fishing
Test Fishing for large mouth bass will start later this week, We have two guest guides testing plastic and soft lures, Watch this space!!!

Sea Fishing

Specialist sea fishing trips are now available through the Hideaway Lakes Team. So, if you fancy a bit of sweet and sour, fishing, let us know. A morning on the sea and the afternoon on our lakes

Fishing report

We opened on 1 May 2013

Lakes are full of water

Morning fishing is slow at the moment, best time is the afternoon to dusk.  We are allowing fishing for 1 hour after dusk.

We also introduced a new Kayak and Bass Boat fishing experiences

Today we undertook a local restock over over 100 2 - 3 lb Carp.  We will add more stock over the next month, with big additions this autumn

Free Day Ticket Fishing for clients of Quinta

Great offer for a group of anglers as we can arrange short breaks from 3 nights. Or for a family of fishing widows who just cant get away from the fishing totally but want to enjoy a stunning location.

For this year we have agreed with the owner of that clients staying at the stunning and luxury Hideaway Quinta, free fishing of the Day Ticket Lakes, normally 20 euros per day per person. (for a family of upto 8, thats 8*20=160 euros per day)

The hire of tackle and sale of bait is still in addition.  There maybe concessions on other estate activities

Delayed Reopening

***Important Notice***

Due to adverse weather conditions continuing and delayed 

deliver date from our stock fish supplier, Hideaway Lakes 

apologies for the postponement of our opening day. 

The Fishery we reopen on 1 May 2013 and will be available 

for booking 6 days per week, but will remain closed on 

Mondays.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Reopening 28 March 2013

We are please to announce that Hideaway Lakes Portugal will be reopen from 28 March 2013. At this time we will only be open Thursdays/Fridays/Saturdays and Sundays and just the Day Ticket lakes (which are full of water).

We can offer Carp and Bass fishing (including lure fishing)

Prices remain the same as 2012, we will look at adding some new offers.

we are also pleased to tell you we are working with a new transfer and tour company to offer selected pick up points in the Algarve

We are also in talks to offer a number of events.
